The Mortgage Assistance Program (MAP) provides loans to homeowners at risk of foreclosure. MAP loans help homeowners achieve sustainable, affordable mortgage payments.

MAP is funded by the City of New York through the Department of Housing Preservation and Development, as well as through private donations, including a grant from the Ford Foundation. Sustainable Neighborhoods LLC, an affiliate of Center for NYC Neighborhoods (CNYCN), is the administrator of MAP.

In order to apply for MAP, homeowners must work with a qualified housing counselor or free legal services provider.
